Hey Guys!
This post continues our anniversary getaway at a Treehouse in Copperhill, TN.

Tip: McCaysville & Ducktown, TN are located approx 15 mins from the treehouses and that’s where you will find the nearest grocery store
We started our morning off with coffee and a delicious cinnamon roll.
I had ordered the cinnamon rolls from the Sweet Shoppe out of Blue Ridge, GA.
The bakery was the season 6 winner of the Food Network’s show, Cupcake Wars.
You definitely need to check them out if you are ever in the area!
After breakfast, we got dressed and headed to Blue Ridge….it’s a 30 min drive from the treehouse.
I had one more surprise for my hubby!
I had booked a couple’s massage and a facial for each of us at the Serenity in the Mountains Spa!
After arriving to the spa, we headed inside.
They had decorated the place with 170 gorgeous Christmas trees!!
Serenity also offers luxury suites for a reasonable price.
Once we were inside, we were immediately greeted by the front desk staff.
After filling out our paperwork, we were taken to separate locker rooms where we were given plush robes and spa shoes to change into.
The locker rooms were super nice…they had showers, bathrooms, changing rooms, a steam room and sauna!
After changing into our robes, we were then led to a room called the, Quite Room and given a complimentary platter of grapes, chocolate dipped strawberries and pretzels!
This room was so nice and decorated in beautiful trees!

They also had complimentary bags of pretzels, cups of trail mix, water and coffee in each room.

After waiting for about 15 mins, our therapists arrived to take us up to the couple’s massage room.
The spa package that I booked included an 85 min massage and a one hour facial…however, we had to pay a little extra to have the couple’s massage.

Once we were ready for our massages, the therapists came back into the room and started our massage.
So, I really hate to say this, but my massage was terrible!
I kept lying on the table in hopes it would get better but, it was obvious that it wasn’t going to!
So, I laid there trying to come up with a plan on how to get out of this massage without making it awkward for my husband and hurting the therapist’s feelings!
Finally, once she asked me to turn over on my back, I told her that I needed to go to the restroom….so, both of the therapists left the room so I could get dressed.
I then walked out of the room and thankfully, there was another staff member at the bottom of the steps to lead me to the bathroom….I told her that I couldn’t continue with the massage because it just wasn’t good.
To make a long story short, the manager came and spoke with me and told me she wasn’t going to charge me for the massage.
So, I sat out in the Relaxation Room and waited for my hubby to finish his massage.
Once he had finished his massage, they led him back downstairs and then took both of us to another room where, they had the charcuterie board that I had pre ordered, waiting for us.
Since we had an hour wait between our massages and our facials, I decided to order the charcuterie board so we wouldn’t be starving while we waited!
This room was beautiful too and the presentation for the charcuterie board was so nice!
We were also given a complimentary fruit punch/pineapple drink after our massages and facials! It was so good!
They also had a bar area where you could order other drinks like hot chocolate, punch, etc.
We loved all of the Christmas trees!
After waiting for about an hour, the therapists that were doing our facials, arrived to take us back for our facials.
We had separate rooms for our facials.
Each and every room had a Christmas tree!
After we were done with our facials, we were led back to the locker rooms to change back into our clothes.
Tip: You can arrive before your appointment or stay after your treatment’s and enjoy the steam and sauna rooms for free
We then headed back to the front desk and checked out.
The front office was decorated with at least 10 Christmas trees!
After checking out, we headed back to the treehouse.
I will say, that even though my massage was not good, I would still recommend giving this place a try because, not only was the place gorgeous, every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful!

Once we arrived back to the treehouse, we started getting dressed for dinner.
I had made reservations at a restaurant in Blue Ridge called the Black Sheep.
After getting dressed, we decided to take a few pictures of ourselves at the treehouse!

We wanted to make sure that we had plenty of pictures to remember our special occasion at this cool place! š
A little while later, we headed to the restaurant.
The restaurant is located in a historic house that was built in 1914.

The tree that sits on the property is over 200 yrs old!
After being seated, we looked over the menu.
We decided to order the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer.
They were delicious!
For our main course, we both ordered the 16 oz Ribeye with mashed potatoes.
The food and service were excellent!
Our waiter even brought us out a card and a free dessert for our anniversary!
I highly recommend this restaurant but definitely make reservations because it stays packed out!

After dinner, we headed back to the treehouse.
Once we arrived, we changed and headed straight for the hot tub.
The sweet owners made sure our hot tub was ready for us each evening!
After spending time in the hot tub, we headed back inside and enjoyed our free dessert!
So good!
Later, we called it a night!
Thanks for reading!
Stay tuned for Day 3!
